FCC Considering Pulling Out All the Stops on TV Censorshop (not to mention good taste)

I received this from a fellow conservative in my neighborhood.  I have long decried the ever accelerating slide of network TV into the cesspool.  I don't watch a lot of TV anyway--maybe 3-5 hours a month, but it has come to the point that the wife and I only watch KBYU 11, which is operated by Brigham Young University.  This is the only channel we trust that we can watch wholesome shows... though they also broadcast Public Television news...

Anyway, please pass this on to others... the FCC needs to hear our voices before they throw in the towel completely.

Have you seen the latest by the FCC? In effort to relieve themselves from having to enforce all the compliants out there (reduce the backlog by 70%) they want to change the rules in regards to what is allowable during prime time network tv. This would include allowing the use of the F-word and other vuglarity and frontal nudity. They say they want to focus on the "egregious" offenses and let the "isolated" instances slide, but once you let the camel's nose in the tent its all over.

The FCC will allow public comment on this until the end of April.
