Stories from the Big Snow

Well, this has been a winter of the big snow... it seems everywhere across the country we've had a bigger dose of Ol' Man Winter than normal.  Utah is no exception, though the recent storms in the Midwest have got us beat.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the people in those areas struggling with the challenges they face...

I'd like to ask you to share your experiences in dealing with the winter this year or any year... practical advice, safety tips, humorous stories, anything that is evenly remotely connected--just put them in the "Comments" below. I'll share some of mine as well.

Regards,

Steve

  1. I work in the kitchen of a high school. Most of our students have to walk about 1/2 block to come for lunch. Well the day we had the ice storm, the janitors ran our of salt and the administration would not let the students walk up for lunch. They had to have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches where they were.
